Library collection is developed to serve information needs of the users in a timely and economical manner. Our library houses a variety of resources in print and digital resources covering various aspects of Diploma in Engineering and also areas like general reading, Humanities, etc. Books for bank book facility of Regular and Unaided diploma are available separately. Our library resources are accessible to the students, faculty and staff of our institute and also the users of the Somaiya Vidhyavihar and Ayurvihar campus.
Procedure to procure the books:
Book catalogue which is received from various publishers, are sent to respective departments for the selection of titles along with number of required copies. The concerned faculty will recommend the book of their subject and choice for purchase. On receiving the recommendation from various departments and getting principal’s approval, the books are ordered for purchase.
