No SIMSR offers only doctoral and Post Graduate / Masters Programmes in Management and MCA. For list of the programmes visit website http://simsr.somaiya.edu.
Does the Institute offer any distance learning /e-learning/correspondence programmes?

No the Institute offers only full time and part time Masters/ Post Graduate programmes. However the Institute offers 3 year part time Masters Degree programmes in Marketing, Finance, HRD and Information management affiliated to University of Mumbai.
What tests are accepted for admission to various programmes?

The acceptance of tests varies from programme to programme and may change from year to year due to regulatory requirements. For test for each course please visit website and click on admissions.
Are the forms available on sale?

No, all forms are on-line.
Is there any management quota?

There is no management quota. All admissions are on merit and are done directly by the Institute without any intermediary. Fee is accepted by Demand Draft only (NO CASH FEE IS ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES) at the Institute counter and receipt is issued immediately.
What are the contents of various courses/programmes?

Are any specialization offered in PGDM (International Business) programme?

PGDM (International Business) is a specialization itself and hence no further sub-specialization is offered in this as well as PGDM (Retail management) and PGDM (Financial Services) programmes.
Is hostel facility available for students in the campus?

The Institute has a state of the art hostel facilities, separately for boys and girls within the campus.
What should one do for admission to Ph.D. programmes.

The Institute is a recognized research centre for Ph.D. programme for S N D T Women’s University (for women candidates only) and University of Mumbai.
