The Somaiya Trust was established under the guidance of our founder Padmabhushan (Late) Shri Karamshi Jethabhai Somaiya, who firmly believed that modern education had its roots in strong values. Recogonising the need for imparting value-based education Shree S.K. Somaiya Vinay Mandir High School (Gujrati Medium) was established in the year 1965 and its Jr. College (English Medium) in the year 1975.

The school has 18 division with an approximate strength more than 650 students from std 5th to Std. 10th.

Maths and Science Subject is teaching in English medium in one division of each std.

The Jr. College is one of the bigest Jr. College in Maharashtra having 39 divisions, with a strength of more than 3000 students in different streams (Arts,Commerce,Voc.Com.,MCVC,Science, voc Science with Computer & Electronics.)
